RECEPTIONIST/ADMIN ASSISTANT

We are presently accepting resumes for an open Receptionist/Administrative Accounting position, and if the following information sounds like you, we hope you’ll consider becoming our “Director of First Impressions”!

Critical Power Products & Services specializes in resource recovery and asset management. Our company buys, sells, and manages environmental and power backup equipment typically used in computer rooms, data centers, medical facilities, and other industrial applications. The Receptionist will work with office staff and Project Managers to support them with general administrative tasks.  Candidate must be exceptionally organized and detail oriented. You will also be the first person that our customers interact with, so strong personal skills are a must while both greeting visitors and answering phones with multiple lines and calls at the same time. We want someone who works hard but knows how to have fun as well as wants to become part of a growing and successful team. We offer the following benefits:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answer high volume phone lines, handling 2-3+ calls at the same time and directing calls in an upbeat and professional manner
  • Greet visitors
  • Order office supplies, process, and scan documents
  • Prepare outgoing mail for FedEx/USPS
  • Assist Project Managers as needed with administrative support
  • QuickBooks & Netsuite data entry
  • Team event planning
  • Maintain lobby appearance

Abilities and Skills:

  • Microsoft Windows 7+ and Microsoft Office 2010+ proficiency
  • Excel proficiency a plus
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, multi-tasking ability
  • Typing Speed of 25+ WPM
  • Great communication skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Understanding and familiarity of office machines, tools and procedures
  • Familiar with QuickBooks and Netsuite or CRM software a plus
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Project Manager/Inside Sales

We are seeking candidates which can demonstrate previous experience and success in the sales and project management roles. The following job description is the basis for thriving achievement in meeting your “Inside Sales” career goals at Critical Power Products & Services.

  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with prospective clients.
  • Convert prospects into customers using strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Work in a fast pace telephone sales environment with ability to multitask and have fun!
  • Manage the various stages of projects. (We will train and mentor you.)
